Collection: Peter Komen Collection

As everyone knows, Peter is my favourite breeder and a pretty awesome guy in general. I am fortunate to be able to grow a great many varieties from him and wanted to feature the beauties that he has bred. Enjoy!

To promote transparency, clarity and ethical growing, we are introducing a new classification system for dahlias on the website. It wil take time to add it to our entire dahlia catalogue but we hope that it helps people to understand risk and to combat shops that that are selling unverified cuttings off Dutch tubers.

Each dahlia variety is tagged with a generation that indicates how long we have grown it. It is available in the drop down menu at the top of the 2027 dahlia page, under filters.

1st Generation - imported from Europe, have not grown it. Higher risk of gall.

2nd Generation - we have grown it for 1 year. Includes both imports and varieties from North America. Lower risk for gall.

3rd Generation - we have grown it for 2 years. Low risk for gall. 

4th Generation - we have grown it for 3 years plus. Very minimal risk of gall.

Please check our terms and conditions regarding refunds and shipping. We will no longer be combining orders. Ask me to add to your order and I will send you an invoice. Pay it from your email...easy peasy and it's only one payment.

If your order is oversized, we reserve the right to charge more for shipping. 

Shipping is mid April to mid May. I can not accommodate shipping outside of that window.
