Candy Stripe was one of the very first clematis that I had. I lost it one year and have been searching for it ever since. It's a delightful lavender variety with a darker pink stripes, hence the name Candy Stripe.

Pruning Group: B This clematis blooms on new and old wood, so careful pruning in the spring to get rid of broken stems and cleaning off after the first flush of blooms will keep your clematis happy.
Remember that clematis likes to have cool roots, so planting something in front of it to shade the roots is always a great idea.
