Dutch Pearl is a glorious peachy pink that just glows in the sunlight, with a mauve shimmer. While Dutch Pearl is a formal decorative, it has waterlily qualities. A friend calls it waterlily adjacent and I agree. This is my second favourite dahlia this year, right after Missis Miley.
Grower's notes: The blooms need to mature a bit on the plant to get the true glowing peach colour. The stems are wonderfully long and very floriferous. Definitely lasts long in the vase and blends with so many colour schemes. Dutch Pearl absolutely needs to be pinched hard.
