Nelly Moser is the classic clematis. Mother of many varieties, she sports large pink flowers with a red bar running down the middle. If you want to make a statement in your garden, Nelly is your girl!

Pruning Group: B - This clematis blooms on old wood and new wood, so prune very carefully to remove damaged or dead growth in the spring and do any major pruning after the clematis has finished blooming.
Remember that clematis likes to have cool roots, so planting something in front of it to shade the roots is always a great idea.
