An early bloomer that smells like grape bubblegum! So cute!
Ever since my sister-in-law gave me the beautiful golden Coronation iris from her mother's garden (that had been passed down in her family for 60 years), I have loved irises. This year, I was determined to bring irises to my shop.
Irises can be used in bouquets, just pick when the first bloom is starting to open on the bottom. Each day another bloom will open. They will add height and drama to any bouquet.
Irises like their rhizomes to bake in the sun and not too much moisture, so they do best in full sun. Divide every 3 years and watch out for iris borers.
