Renewal Reblooming Tall Bearded Iris

Renewal has standards in an interesting colour, very hard to decide exactly what colour they are are but the hybridizer (Suttons) describe it as white washed chartreuse. Falls are white with a violet edge and stitching. A light floral fragrance that doesn't bother my perfume allergy is the glorious cherry on top of this iris cheesecake.

Ever since my sister-in-law gave me the beautiful golden Coronation iris from her mother's garden (that had been passed down in her family for 60 years), I have loved irises. This year, I was determined to bring irises to my shop.

Irises can be used in bouquets, just pick when the first bloom is starting to open on the bottom. Each day another bloom will open. They will add height and drama to any bouquet.

Germanica irises like their rhizomes to bake in the sun and not too much moisture, so they do best in full sun. Divide every 3 years and watch out for iris borers.
