A new waterlily from Europe, Twiggy has hot pink petals with a golden heart in the heat but mellows out to a gorgeous middle pink with peach tones when it cools even a little! Sure to cheer up your day when she blooms, she currently has moderate stems for cutting. I did not pinch because I wanted to confirm variety but I did cut deep once she bloomed.
Grower's notes: bloomed fairly quickly for me from a tuber, she was not planted exceptionally early. Plants so far seem to be on the shorter side so far but this year has been a bit weird. Survived flooding, so she is a hearty girl! She continues to open after picking, which can be helpful. Will test vase life this week.
