Clematis Silver Moon is a uniquely colored clematis that performs well in part to full shade! Most clematis prefer full to partial sun, but Silver Moon is a strong performer in nearly any location. The large 6-7″ flowers are silvery-mauve with cream anthers. The petals are wide and overlap nicely to make a very full flower. A vigorous bloomer June thru July and reblooming in late August

Pruning Group: B - This clematis blooms on old wood, so prune very carefully to remove damaged or dead growth in the spring and do any major pruning after it has finished blooming.
Remember that clematis likes to have cool roots, so planting something in front of it to shade the roots is always a great idea.
